About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER role is focused on designing, developing, and delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions across the full stack to support current and future healthcare supply chain products. This position plays a critical role in advancing the technology platform by leveraging expertise in modern Angular, Java, and AWS cloud services, directly impacting the organization’s ability to provide reliable and efficient solutions for its users.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and secure software aligned with business needs.
• Build and modernize user-facing applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Lead technical design efforts for complex features and document solutions.
• Develop and maintain back-end services and integrations using Java and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and resolve dependencies.
• Diagnose system issues and recommend broad, practical solutions.
• Promote best practices in development, testing, and Agile workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of system architecture and data flows.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Requirements:

• Eight or more years of software development experience with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Five or more years developing modern web applications with Angular 17 or newer.
• Strong skills in TypeScript, component-based UI, and reactive programming.
• Experience contributing to technical architecture of large codebases.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE back-end development.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, ECS, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.
• Proven use of AI-powered development tools to improve delivery and code quality.
• Knowledge of design best practices for performance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and managing multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills across front-end, back-end, and cloud services.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Estimated salary range: $128,000 to $170,000
