Role Description
The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across both client-side and server-side environments. This role delivers end-to-end software solutions that ensure strong user experience, system reliability, and efficient data processing.
On the frontend side, the role develops responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces, translating UI/UX designs into functional components. It ensures cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and adherence to modern web standards, including usability and accessibility best practices.
On the backend side, the role designs and implements APIs, server-side logic, and database structures that support application functionality. It focuses on system architecture, data modeling, security, scalability, and integration with third-party services.
The position participates in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance. It also contributes to code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers is essential to deliver high-quality software aligned with business and user requirements. The role may also support Agile development processes and contribute to technical documentation and system enhancements.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks) and backend development (server-side languages, APIs, and database systems). Ability to build and maintain full-stack applications.
Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful API design, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data management.
Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD concepts, debugging tools, and software development lifecycle practices. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams and coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
