Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer Frontend. The person in this role will design, build, and maintain user-facing web interfaces for DBByte’s platform and tools, focusing on performance, usability, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive UI components, integrating with backend APIs, improving frontend architecture, and optimizing page load and rendering times. The Senior Software Engineer Frontend will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable frontend solutions. The role also involves reviewing code, mentoring other engineers, contributing to technical decisions, and helping define best practices for frontend development.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience building complex single-page applications.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and state management patterns.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design, including cross-browser compatibility and accessibility best practices.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs and working with JSON-based data workflows.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including bundling, caching, lazy loading, and monitoring frontend performance metrics.
• Familiarity with build tools and tooling ecosystems (for example Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, Jest, or similar test frameworks).
• Experience with version control (Git), code review processes, and collaborative development in agile or iterative environments.
• Ability to design clean, maintainable architectures and contribute to frontend technical strategy in a senior capacity.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building interfaces for developer-focused or infrastructure products is a plus.
