estaie is building an AI-native extended-stay platform for 15–365-day stays, connecting hotels, holiday homes, channel managers, payment providers, and other travel systems through intelligent inventory, pricing, search, and distribution infrastructure.

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer – Integrations to build and deploy solutions across the estaie platform, with a strong focus on third-party integrations and partner-facing technical challenges.

You will work across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, infrastructure, and AI while working closely with partners, product, sales, and engineering teams.

You will own the full lifecycle: solution design → development → integration → deployment → production.

• Build and maintain integrations with channel managers, PMSs, booking platforms, payment providers, and other third-party APIs.
• Develop production applications and services using Next.js, React, TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Design robust API integrations covering authentication, webhooks, data transformation, retries, rate limiting, idempotency, and error handling.
• Work directly with partners and customers to understand technical requirements and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Build data synchronisation, transformation, and reconciliation workflows across external systems.
• Develop asynchronous and event-driven workflows using queues and messaging systems.
• Build internal tools and partner-facing solutions to improve onboarding and operational efficiency.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities and automation into product and integration workflows.
• Deploy, monitor, debug, and continuously improve production systems.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
  

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, including React/Next.js and Node.js/NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, data transformation, and third-party integrations.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with Redis, queues, or event-driven systems.
• Good understanding of transactions, concurrency, idempotency, retries, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with Docker and cloud-based deployment environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multiple systems.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, partners, and external engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment and take ownership from idea to production.
  

• Experience with Kafka/Redpanda, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, BullMQ, or Turborepo.
• Experience in hospitality, travel, fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or other integration-heavy businesses.
• Experience with payment integrations, reservation systems, or inventory distribution.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, vector search, or AI automation.
• Experience with GCP, Cloud Run, or Kubernetes.
