Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Helic & Co. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join their development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from senior engineers
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA
  • Contribute to software design discussions and implementation plans
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases
  • Support deployment and monitor application performance Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships count)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++)
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and data structures
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
