## About the Role

MACC, a division of Harris, is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support business needs. The role focuses on MSSQL and database solutions, RESTful APIs, C# with .NET Core, and front-end development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will bring strong software development and problem-solving skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and work independently across multiple priorities. The role also emphasizes an AI and innovation mindset, including the practical use of AI-enabled technologies such as copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools while maintaining appropriate judgment, security, and compliance standards.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MSSQL.

* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications.

* Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# using the .NET Core framework.

* Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

* Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

* Adopt and leverage AI-enabled technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools, to improve workflows, solve problems, and increase efficiency.

## Required Qualifications

* Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar software development role.

* Proven proficiency in MSSQL and database design.

* Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

* Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core framework.

* Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

* Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.

* Current, valid passport and legal eligibility to travel to the United States, including passport-based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
