About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team at ISR Information Products AG. In this role, you will play a key part in the ongoing development and enhancement of our flagship product, Buildsimple, an AI-driven software platform designed for intelligent document processing. Your responsibilities will span from designing new features to optimizing existing architecture within a cloud-based environment. Collaborating closely with our Machine Learning team and other stakeholders, you will contribute to building scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that empower our clients to leverage artificial intelligence effectively. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software development with expertise in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. A minimum of two years of experience in agile development methodologies and test-driven development is required. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture, cloud service development, and database management, including experience with RDS and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch. Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is also essential. Proficiency in both German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2) is expected to facilitate effective communication within our international team and with clients. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation are highly valued.

- Designing, implementing, and maintaining new features for our SaaS application hosted on AWS infrastructure, utilizing modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
- Optimizing software architecture, development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high quality and efficient deployment cycles.
- Transforming business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions, including designing internal and public APIs.
- Engaging in backend development, integration, or full-stack development depending on your expertise, using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI.
- Collaborating closely with the Machine Learning team to integrate AI models and ensure seamless data flow within the platform.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold best practices and maintain high standards of software quality.
