Role Description The
TypeScript Developer role is a full-time, remote position focused on building and maintaining scalable
web applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, well-structured
TypeScript code, implementing back-end logic and APIs, and integrating with front-end components and external services. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability. Additional tasks include debugging and optimizing existing code, contributing to technical documentation, and following best practices in
security, performance, and
testing.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with hands-on experience using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating with cloud services.
- Background in Software Development practices, such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks and tools (e.g., Node.js, Express, or similar server-side frameworks).
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and collaborate effectively in a remote, distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and an interest in staying current with emerging web technologies is beneficial.
