About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team at HdL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support our proprietary products and client needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing reporting tools, develop new features, and ensure the seamless integration of our software systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in coding, debugging, and database management, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least one year of experience in software development and testing. They should demonstrate the ability to make moderately complex decisions regarding routine issues and possess a problem-solving mindset capable of addressing moderate scope and complexity challenges. Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and debugging tools is essential. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic, and frameworks like MVC and AngularJS, along with experience working with RDBMS/SQL, PostgreSQL, and APIs, is required. Knowledge of GIS, network protocols, and Microsoft Internet Information Server will be advantageous. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of applying technical knowledge to improve existing procedures and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Write, modify, and debug software programs for HdL proprietary applications based on architecture and design specifications.
  • Utilize source debuggers and visual development environments to troubleshoot and refine code.
  • Test, document, and deploy software solutions for client applications, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Design and develop intuitive user interfaces to enhance user experience.
  • Enhance and improve existing reporting tools, including features and customized reports for internal and client use.
  • Construct and optimize database queries on PostgreSQL to support data-driven functionalities.
  • Apply intermediate skills in design, coding, debugging, and testing to deliver functional program modules.
  • Understand network architectures and protocols to ensure seamless integration and communication.
  • Develop code using .NET C#, Visual Basic, MVC frameworks, AngularJS, Vue.js, and QlikView.
  • Maintain familiarity with GIS technologies, APIs, and Microsoft Internet Information Server to support software enhancements.
