Role Description As a Full Stack Engineer at Prolena, you will work on designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end features for our mentorship platform. You will develop and optimize both front-end interfaces and back-end services, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for mentors and mentees. Daily tasks include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, managing data models, and collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements. You will also participate in code reviews, improve performance, address technical issues, and contribute to architectural decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amsterdam.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications.
• Solid skills in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks to build scalable services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
• Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and monitoring for web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in mentorship, education, or platforms that connect global talent is a plus.
