We are expanding the team at Shoplevers and looking for our first software engineering hire. Our platform provides data analysis and automated business management solutions for the auto repair industry.

Because you will be the first software engineer joining alongside the technical founder, being highly independent, self-driven, and comfortable navigating an early-stage startup environment is essential.

Our core stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Microservices, Google Cloud.

Core Expertise & Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer with a secondary specialization in one of our two immediate growth areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Strong, production-level proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Database experience utilizing both document and columnar databases (MongoDB and ClickHouse).
• Ability to handle general backend tasks, ensuring stability, scalability, and clean code.
• (Advantage) Experience with Google Cloud infrastructure.

Specialization A: Data Transformation Focus

Designing robust data transformation pipelines to derive key business metrics from raw client order data.

Independently figuring out and suggesting the mathematical and business logic for calculations.

Ensuring efficient and accurate data ingestion from external APIs.

Specialization B: AI Harness Focus

Building the backend infrastructure and tooling necessary to support AI integrations.

Developing systems to manage context, integrate agents, or connect internal APIs to LLMs.

Establishing secure, efficient data pipelines between our core platform and our AI services.
