About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated client-facing applications and backend services, utilizing a broad spectrum of modern technologies. You will play a key role in designing scalable architecture, implementing complex features, and ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance our service offerings and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, experience with microservices architecture, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent)
• Master’s degree in the same fields with at least three (3) years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience developing Java web applications using Angular, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Oracle databases
• Proficiency in client-side technologies including Angular, TypeScript, Webpack, JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML5, JQuery, and NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with server-side frameworks such as Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Batch, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, and uDeploy for CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and TDD practices
• Experience with building responsive UI designs and wireframing
• Knowledge of configuration management, security testing tools (Veracode, Sonar), and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Certifications in relevant IT fields are a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture design and define application-level architecture standards
• Develop and maintain complex applications, components, and subsystems aligned with business requirements
• Lead the development of scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to support client-facing applications
• Implement automation pipelines using CI/CD methodologies and DevOps tools to ensure efficient deployment processes
• Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit testing and QA readiness assessments, to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Create detailed documentation for applications and subsystems to facilitate maintenance and future enhancements
• Manage full project life cycle plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Advise on risk management strategies and perform technical risk assessments for ongoing projects
• Coordinate project schedules and resource allocations across multiple initiatives
• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to resolve project and technology issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices
• Perform independent technical and functional analysis to support divisional initiatives
• Develop innovative technical solutions to ongoing development challenges and improve overall development efficiency
