About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer (m/f/d) specializing in HMI, Frontend, and Industrial UX to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing modern web-based human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and visualization solutions tailored for industrial machinery and production systems. Your work will directly impact real-time visualization and control of complex industrial processes, ensuring seamless interaction between operators and machinery. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams—including automation, engineering, and commissioning—to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance usability, ergonomics, and operational safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on tangible technical systems rather than pure software applications, providing meaningful contributions to industrial automation projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant educational background such as a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or have comparable professional experience. Proven experience in developing modern web frontends using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS is essential. A strong interest in technical systems, machinery, automation, and industrial processes is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of user experience principles, usability, and ergonomic design to create intuitive interfaces. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are required to collaborate effectively with international teams and clients. Additionally, a structured, autonomous, and solution-oriented working style is necessary to thrive in our innovative environment. Prior experience with API development, data integration, and working within interdisciplinary teams will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern user interfaces and visualization solutions for industrial machines and systems.
• Implement web-based frontends utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS to ensure responsive and efficient performance.
• Conceive and realize intuitive control concepts with a focus on UX, usability, and ergonomic factors to optimize operator interaction.
• Analyze technical workflows in collaboration with end-users and domain specialists to tailor solutions that meet operational needs.
• Develop and integrate frontend components, APIs, and data connections to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Coordinate with software development, automation, design, and commissioning teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
