2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer role is centered on developing a geographically distributed and redundant calling platform that supports high volumes of communication. This position contributes directly to the future of communications technology within the organization by engineering infrastructure that enables reliable, large-scale voice interactions and integrating advanced AI features. The role impacts how customers—from small businesses to enterprises—connect and communicate.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain a large-scale, geographically distributed calling platform
• Develop AI features embedded within a carrier-grade communications platform
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver impactful communication features
• Engage with emerging technologies and contribute to platform architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed system issues from root cause to deployment
4. Requirements:
• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong programming fundamentals with a desire to quickly advance skills
• Solid understanding of IP networking concepts
• Enthusiasm for learning niche and cutting-edge technologies
• Self-motivated with an ownership mindset
• Collaborative and knowledge-sharing approach
• Interest in AI applications at scale
• Willingness to work near Eastern Standard Time during a 6-12 month training period in a fully remote setting
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base salary range for New York candidates: $94,000—$120,000 USD
• Eligibility for bonuses, sales incentives, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
