Senior Frontend Engineer — Fintech

Agilus is recruiting for a fast-growing Canadian fintech platform helping people turn major expenses—like rent, tuition, and insurance—into opportunities to build credit, earn rewards, and improve financial flexibility.

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own high-impact web features, shape frontend architecture, and deliver polished customer experiences across a modern Next.js application.

What You’ll Do

• Build responsive, accessible, high-performance features using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Mobile teams to deliver seamless fintech experiences.
• Create reusable UI components, improve frontend architecture, and optimize performance.
• Take ownership of quality, reliability, and production-ready delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years building production web applications.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, APIs, performance, and usability.
• Experience in fintech, payments, authentication, cloud-native apps, or design systems is a strong asset.
