About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Phantom. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the core systems that power our trading experiences, including designing and implementing APIs, data pipelines, and services that facilitate seamless interaction between blockchain infrastructure and our user-facing platforms. Your work will focus on integrating new trading protocols, aggregators, and trade types, as well as experimenting with innovative trading surfaces and user segments. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence how users discover, execute, and interact with digital assets across multiple ecosystems, shaping the future of crypto trading experiences.
As a Software Engineer, you will own feature development on our web platforms, including the Phantom Extension and our website. You will lead initiatives to support additional blockchains and launch new products or infrastructure that enhance our platform’s capabilities. Engaging directly with end-users and developers, you will gather feedback, support their needs, and help steer product development. Additionally, you will contribute to team building efforts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, ensuring that each new hire raises the bar for our organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience
- Demonstrated interest in open-source and community-driven platforms
- Experience working with trading systems is a plus
- Proficiency in English language communication
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and services to support trading features and blockchain integrations
- Implement new trading protocols, aggregators, and trade types to enhance platform capabilities
- Experiment with new trading interfaces and user segments to improve user engagement and experience
- Own the development of features on web platforms such as Phantom Extension and our website
- Lead initiatives to support additional blockchain networks and launch new products or infrastructure
- Engage with end-users and developers to gather feedback, support integration efforts, and inform product evolution
