Role Description As a Full-Stack Developer at HummingBird, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our AI-powered talent platform in a full-time, remote capacity. You will build and optimize scalable front-end interfaces and back-end services, ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performing user experience for candidates, employers, and internal stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, improving existing functionality, integrating with third-party ATS/VMS systems, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and data/ML engineers. You will write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and help refine architecture and best practices to support continuous platform improvement. You will also contribute to documentation and work closely with the team to ensure that releases are delivered efficiently and aligned with product goals.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack development skills, including Full-Stack Development and Software Development experience.
• Front-end development skills, including Front-End Development and proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Back-end web development skills, including Back-End Web Development and experience with server-side frameworks and APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and one backend language or framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or Java/Spring).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, and integrating with third-party services.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and scalable cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Comfort with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience with HRTech or AI-driven platforms is a plus.
