About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team supporting secure, mission-critical federal systems. This full-stack developer role offers an exciting opportunity to work on modern web applications that are vital to national security and public service initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for building scalable, secure, and user-friendly web solutions, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate within an Agile environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages, to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. Your expertise will contribute to designing secure APIs, optimizing databases, and troubleshooting complex issues across multiple layers of application architecture, all while adhering to industry security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience developing web-based applications, complemented by a relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core is essential, along with proficiency in developing modern front-end applications using JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience working with SQL Server or similar relational database technologies is required, as well as a solid understanding of application architecture, API development, and reusable design patterns. Familiarity with Git-based source control, automated build and deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines is also necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of developing secure applications and integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle. Certification in CompTIA Security+ or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire is preferred. Additional experience with React, Blazor, Razor Pages, Entity Framework Core, IIS, Windows Server, and federal cybersecurity compliance standards will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages. You will build responsive, intuitive user interfaces employing JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other modern front-end frameworks. Developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise applications will be a core part of your role. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL Server databases, data models, and data access layers to ensure high performance and security. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across the UI, middleware, database, and hosting environments will be essential to ensure system stability and security. Implementing secure coding practices, applying industry-standard authentication and authorization solutions, and proactively identifying vulnerabilities are key aspects of your work. You will contribute to automated testing, code quality initiatives, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery. Collaborating closely with developers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment, you will leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and performance.
