About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services. You will work closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing solutions across both frontend and backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces.
• Develop backend services, APIs and microservices to support business functions and data processing requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and system features.
• Design and implement reusable, maintainable and scalable software components.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Apply frontend engineering best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards and organisational policies.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business users to enhance application usability and user experience.
• Participate in Agile software development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Support application troubleshooting, defect resolution and production support activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing across the project team.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in full stack application development, building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including:
• ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js or equivalent frameworks.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong backend development experience using one or more of the following:
• Node.js
• Python
• Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience implementing frontend engineering best practices, including:
• Responsive design
• Accessibility
• Performance optimisation
• Component-based architecture
• State management
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, API integrations and microservices.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments is preferred.
