Founding Fullstack Engineer

Location: Remote (Europe), optional hybrid in Stockholm, Barcelona, or Copenhagen

Compensation: 50 to 70 K

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with Loonar, an early-stage, high-growth startup building an AI-native platform transforming industrial commercial workflows.

The company is already generating revenue, with 21+ industrial customers (including multinational groups) actively using the product and a strong pipeline of 40+ companies. Fully bootstrapped and funded through revenue, they are building for the long term.

This is a founding engineer role — not just building features, but shaping the product, the platform, and the company itself.

You’ll work directly with the founders to own the product end-to-end, from interface to infrastructure, while helping define engineering culture and product direction.

What You’ll Do

• Own the product end-to-end: frontend, backend, data model, infrastructure, and deployment
• Turn complex, real-world industrial workflows into simple, reliable software
• Design scalable systems that can handle large, unstructured technical inputs (e.g. hundreds of pages of specifications)
• Build clean abstractions that allow onboarding new customers in days, not months
• Work directly with customers and iterate based on real usage and feedback
• Ship quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality and correctness
• Help define engineering standards, product direction, and company culture

Must-Have Experience

• Strong full-stack engineering experience (frontend + backend)
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining production systems
• Experience designing and owning backend systems: APIs, data models, background jobs
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability
• Solid product and UX intuition — you care how things feel, not just how they work
• Experience using AI coding tools / agents to significantly increase velocity
• Strong business mindset: you build things that create real, measurable value

The company is building an AI platform for technical commercial teams in industrial companies.

Customers are manufacturers selling critical components (e.g. valves, HVAC systems, transformers) for infrastructure projects like energy plants and data centers.

The platform helps answer three core questions:

• What does the customer need?
• What can we offer?
• What can we not offer?

It is already used daily to process multi-million euro bids, requiring deep customization and robust system design.
