We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join us at an early stage of a new product, taking end-to-end ownership of key product areas and helping shape both its technology and product direction. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and the CTO/CEO to solve real merchant problems at the intersection of commerce and practical AI, while building a standalone product deeply integrated with Shopify. As the product and team grow, you’ll have opportunities to take on broader technical or people leadership, including paths toward Technical Lead or Engineering Manager, based on your impact, technical judgment, and leadership interests.

• Build and iterate GemBoss, an AI-powered store management product for Shopify merchants, from early-stage prototype to a reliable, production-ready product.
• Own end-to-end development of product areas, from designing responsive frontend experiences to building reliable backend services, APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Build and maintain deep integrations with Shopify data and workflows, while keeping GemBoss as a standalone product outside Shopify Admin.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and the CTO/CEO to understand merchant problems, translate them into technical solutions, and ship small, testable product iterations.
• Design, implement, and evaluate AI-powered workflows, balancing accuracy, usability, privacy, performance, and cost.
• Take ownership of the quality and reliability of the features you build, including testing, code quality, observability, deployment, and production issue resolution.
• Help shape engineering practices, technical decisions, and ways of working as GemBoss evolves and the team grows.

• Proven experience building and shipping production web products across both frontend and backend.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript (or an equivalent modern stack), with solid knowledge of web UI architecture, APIs, databases, and system integration.
• Ability to design secure, maintainable services and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Hands-on experience working with third-party APIs, authentication, permissions, and data handling.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity — able to break down a merchant problem, build a working prototype, validate it, and iterate based on feedback.
• Strong written and spoken communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering and take ownership from design through production.

Preferred

• Experience with Shopify APIs, commerce platforms, merchant tools, or B2B SaaS.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, evaluating AI outputs, and building guardrails or human review into AI-powered workflows.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.

• Salary range: Upto $2000
