About The Role

We are seeking curious, adaptable software engineers who are passionate about building impactful software and collaborating effectively within a team environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse array of projects, ranging from enterprise-scale web applications utilizing .NET and Angular to automated AI solutions that streamline workflows. As part of our team, you will be encouraged to evaluate emerging tools and frameworks, adopt them swiftly, and develop innovative solutions that influence how our clients leverage modern technology. Your contributions will be vital in strengthening client relationships through active involvement in requirements gathering, identifying new needs, and demonstrating completed work. This position is hybrid/remote, based in Birmingham, Alabama.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with core technologies such as .NET Core, C#, Azure Cloud Services, Angular, React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web APIs, DevOps practices, Test Driven Development, and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment is a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud-based applications utilizing technologies such as .NET Core, C#, Angular, and React.
• Mentor and support team members by sharing insights, conducting code reviews, and exploring new technological advancements.
• Continuously learn and experiment with emerging tools and frameworks, especially in AI and automation domains, to keep the tech stack current.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand business needs, define project goals, and provide technical recommendations.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, user story refinement, and effort estimation.
• Contribute to establishing best practices for AI tool integration within Sigao’s development workflows.
