About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Albstadt. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing operating system components, drivers, and service tools for PC scales running on Linux (x86/ARM). Your primary focus will be on implementing applications in C++ with the Qt framework, ensuring robust performance and security. You will also be involved in maintaining and improving build and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes. Additionally, your expertise will be utilized in the visualization and containerization of applications using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting our efforts in modern software deployment. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams in an international environment, you will actively participate in agile project management methodologies like Scrum and SAFe, contribute to code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Software Development or a related field and has several years of professional experience in similar roles. You possess strong proficiency in C++, with hands-on experience in the Qt framework being highly advantageous. A solid understanding of Linux operating systems is essential. Your ability to adapt quickly to new topics and work in a flexible environment is crucial, along with excellent communication skills in both German (verhandlungssicher) and English (fließend). You should demonstrate a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based operating system components, drivers, and service tools for PC scales. You will design and implement applications using C++ and Qt, ensuring high quality and performance standards. Maintaining and enhancing build and CI/CD pipelines will be part of your daily tasks, utilizing tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps to streamline software deployment processes. You will ensure that all software remains secure and up-to-date by performing regular security patches and feature updates.
