We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Development Associate to join our eCommerce development team and build, customize, optimize, and maintain Shopify stores and eCommerce solutions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work on Shopify theme development, customizations, integrations, storefront functionality, performance optimization, and eCommerce features.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, marketing teams, SEO specialists, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality Shopify stores for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify stores according to project requirements.
• Customize Shopify themes and create responsive storefront experiences.
• Develop custom Shopify sections, blocks, templates, and components.
• Work with Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Convert Figma and UI/UX designs into functional Shopify storefronts.
• Develop custom Shopify functionality and reusable components.
• Integrate third-party applications and services with Shopify stores.
• Work with Shopify APIs and external systems.
• Implement and customize product catalogs, collections, navigation, filters, and checkout-related functionality.
• Develop and customize Shopify Plus features where required.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping systems, CRM platforms, analytics, and marketing tools.
• Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL.
• Troubleshoot theme, app, integration, and storefront issues.
• Optimize Shopify stores for speed, responsiveness, SEO, and conversion performance.
• Ensure websites work correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement tracking and analytics integrations such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.
• Work with SEO teams to implement technical SEO requirements.
• Perform testing and coordinate with QA teams to resolve issues.
• Manage Shopify store updates, deployments, and version changes.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and documented code.
• Maintain technical documentation for custom Shopify functionality and integrations.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience working with Shopify development.
• Strong practical experience with Shopify Liquid.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience customizing Shopify themes.
• Experience creating custom Shopify sections and templates.
• Understanding of Shopify store architecture and eCommerce functionality.
• Experience working with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
• Understanding of website performance and technical SEO.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
