About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer (w/m/d) to join our dynamic team at Siemens Healthineers. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and integrating innovative software solutions designed to support clinical decision-making processes. Your work will contribute to the advancement of digital solutions that enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in healthcare settings. The position offers flexibility, including the possibility to work remotely within Germany up to 60% of your working hours, and in certain conditions, from abroad for up to 30 days annually. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, Scrum Masters, and architects, to deliver high-quality software that meets the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by several years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in C#/.NET and familiarity with modern architectural approaches, cloud platforms, and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker are essential. Experience with frontend technologies, particularly Angular, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. Comfort working in both Windows and Linux environments, with the ability to develop, operate, and analyze applications across these platforms, is required. An interest in AI-driven technologies and experience utilizing AI tools to support development processes will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate software solutions for clinical decision support, operating in on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Assist in planning work packages, designing system architectures, implementing features, conducting testing, and documenting software functionalities.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to building, maintaining, and enhancing automation pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements to enhance software quality and development efficiency.
  • Coordinate development tasks closely with team members, cross-functional teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and System Architects, ensuring seamless communication of technical interfaces within an international development environment.
