Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Full Stack Engineer role based in Mountain View, CA, with flexibility for part-time work from home. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications that power turtil’s AI-driven products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services and APIs, and integrating data and AI components into a cohesive product experience. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, review code, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. The engineer will also participate in deployment workflows, monitor application performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of the engineering stack and practices.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development for modern web applications.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including designing and implementing APIs and services.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or similar) and server-side technologies (such as Node.js, Python, or comparable stacks) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to code quality, and experience with testing and debugging are important.
  • Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment, communicate effectively, and document technical decisions clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
