About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer to join the Adobe Firefly client team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Adobe’s creative tools powered by AI and ML technologies. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the user-facing components of Adobe Firefly, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for millions of creators worldwide. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, and internal stakeholders to translate innovative ideas into interactive prototypes and scalable solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence next-generation products, contribute to a high-profile strategic initiative, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of professional experience developing interactive web applications, preferably within the creative tools domain
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Extensive experience with React for building and deploying web applications
  • High proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture and functional programming principles
  • Experience with modern web technologies such as WebAssembly, WebGPU, Canvas, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in hybrid or remote environments

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain architectural standards and best practices for the Adobe Firefly client platform
  • Design and implement scalable, component-based solutions using functional programming techniques
  • Collaborate with design, product management, and internal teams to translate ideas into interactive prototypes and production-ready features
  • Engage with customers to identify pain points, perform A/B testing, and refine workflows for optimal user experience
  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in web development, testing, and deployment
  • Mentor junior engineers, promote code quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development of high-performance, reliable, and maintainable codebases
