About the Role

We are seeking a capable and reliable Full Stack Engineer who will serve as the primary technical lead for our website, cloud-based systems, and day-to-day operational technology. The ideal candidate must be confident working independently, proactively resolving technical issues, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems.

This role requires strong skills in Next.js, Python, and cloud hosting environments, along with solid debugging ability and an understanding of data privacy and secure handling of sensitive information.


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and enhance our Next.js website and internal web applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues using Python (FastAPI/Django).

• Monitor and maintain cloud deployments, uptime, logs, SSL certificates, domains, and version releases.

• Ensure data privacy, secure coding practices, and correct handling of sensitive student information.

• Implement access control, basic security measures, backups, and cloud resource monitoring.

• Act as the main technical point of contact for the organization; resolve issues independently.

• Support internal computer systems, lab devices, and general software/hardware troubleshooting when required.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors when needed for escalations or integration work.

• Document fixes, configurations, and technical processes for continuity.


Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years in full stack development (Next.js + Python).

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel) including deployments, environment variables, logs, and basic security.

• Strong debugging skills with the ability to trace issues across front-end, backend, and cloud layers.

• Knowledge of data privacy, secure coding, and proper handling of sensitive data.

• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.

• Proficiency with Git and basic CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to work independently without an internal IT team.

• Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot for non-technical staff.


Nice To Have

• Experience with educational platforms or booking/registration systems.

• Familiarity with payment gateways, REST APIs, or TypeScript.

• Basic networking knowledge.

• Experience with Docker or simple server administration.
