Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will work on-site in the Detroit Metropolitan Area in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with product, design, and operations teams to build and improve Demotek’s unified workspace platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining front-end interfaces, building robust back-end services and APIs, and integrating data flows that support features such as plan takeoffs, pricing, scheduling, and proposal generation. The engineer will participate in code reviews, write and maintain technical documentation, and ensure applications are performant, secure, and scalable. This role also involves troubleshooting production issues, implementing tests, and contributing to continuous improvement of the engineering stack and development practices.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development to design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications.
  • Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills to create APIs, manage server-side logic, and work with databases.
  • Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Node.js, or similar) and relational/non-relational databases is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, clean coding practices, and familiarity with testing, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines are preferred.
