Senior TypeScript Engineer (Contract)

Remote (UK)

6–12 Month Contract | Outside IR35 | £550 per day

We're working with a fast-growing EdTech SaaS business looking for an experienced TypeScript Engineer to help build and enhance a modern cloud-native platform used by thousands of educators and learners.

You'll join a collaborative engineering team, working across the full software development lifecycle to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing applications.

Key Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript
• Node.js backend development
• REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React desirable)
• SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• CI/CD and automated testing
• Agile development experience

Desirable

• Experience working on SaaS products
• Exposure to event-driven architectures
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience building scalable, customer-facing applications
