Role Overview
Alaris Acquisitions serves as a premier M&A advisory firm exclusively dedicated to the wealth management industry. We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Full Stack & Data Engineer to drive the technical evolution of our proprietary applications, including our Lens compatibility platform. You will collaborate closely with our internal engineering team and our Barcelona-based agency partners, Nexus Creative, to develop comprehensive seller and buyer portals, Webflow-driven marketing web applications, and a robust data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Lakehouse Architecture: Build and manage an open-format raw data layer using Azure Databricks, starting with our initial workspace and catalog rollout.
- Pipeline & Data Engineering: Ingest raw, unchanged data from Google Drive, Postgres, Databricks and n8n platforms. Manage complex workflows using n8n to execute on a single data layer.
- Backend & API Development: Build, extend, and maintain RESTful APIs in C# on .NET Core, and work with our agency partner Nexus Creative we migrate our backend.
- AI-First Integration & Data Prep: Structure and prepare data for advanced analytics and local-model execution using Claude and related LLM tools, ensuring continuous feeds for ingesting scripts and vector storage.
- Security & Governance: Implement strict role-based access controls to guarantee that buyer, seller, and internal data remain completely isolated. Ensure robust data lineage so that every fact traces back to its source file. So when we access data only data the user has access to is visible.
- Portal Development: Architect and optimize dynamic buyer and seller portals on Azure App Service, ensuring a premium front-end UI/UX for our wealth management clientele.
- Strategic Execution: Operate within our Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework, taking ownership of Q4 Rocks, maintaining our weekly scorecard, and presenting key Stage 2 architecture decisions on the Level 10 (L10) meeting list. Align all engineering deliverables with our enterprise IT Transformation Roadmap (TxRM).
Technical Requirements & Experience
- Core Full-Stack & Backend (4+ years): 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience building secure web applications, including 2+ years of dedicated experience utilizing .NET Core for scalable backend architecture.
- Cloud Infrastructure (3+ years): 3+ years of hands-on experience within the Azure ecosystem, prominently featuring Azure App Service and Azure Databricks. Cumulative multi-cloud experience (including Google Cloud and AWS) is highly desired and considered a strong plus.
- Data Engineering (3+ years): Proven experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and a deep understanding of Delta lake architecture and managing open file formats.
- Front-End & CMS (3+ years): Front-end expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar), alongside proven experience managing and integrating Webflow into broader custom application ecosystems.
- Workflow Automation (2+ years highly desired): Extensive experience building and maintaining advanced automation workflows specifically using n8n to centralize and execute data matching.
- AI-First & Vector Integration (1+ years): Applied experience with AI-first development methodologies, utilizing Claude and related LLMs/tools to build out vector databases and power localized models.
- Governance & Compliance: Experience structuring data catalogs (familiarity with Classification Standard v3.0 is a plus) and implementing complex data lineage and role-based access.
- RAG Development: We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer to design and scale production-ready Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and agentic workflows. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience optimizing vector databases (such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Qdrant) and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
