Founding Full-Stack Engineer — Anyura

Reports to: CTO

Compensation: $130,000–$220,000 base + meaningful equity

Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based)

Employment: Full-time

Expected commitment: Approximately 50–60 hours per week

Anyura is building the AI-native operating system for medspas and aesthetic clinics.

Running a clinic means coordinating patient relationships, scheduling, clinical documentation, payments, memberships, and day-to-day operations. We are bringing these workflows into one connected platform, with AI built into how the work gets done.

Our ambition is to give independent clinics the operational capabilities of a much larger organization—helping teams spend less time on administrative work and more time caring for patients and growing the business.

As our Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will own major parts of the product end to end and work directly with the CTO to shape our technical direction.

Strong communication is essential to this role. You will collaborate closely with our operations team in China, translating business needs into clear requirements, communicating tradeoffs, and keeping work moving across time zones. We need someone who writes clearly, asks precise questions, surfaces blockers early, and closes the loop. Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.

This is a high-intensity role with an expected commitment of approximately 50–60 hours per week. Fully remote work requires dependable communication, proactive coordination, and consistent follow-through. You should be comfortable with demanding delivery cycles and taking responsibility for outcomes.

Your first job is to take a critical clinic workflow from its current state to a reliable, intuitive experience ready for daily use. That means understanding the operator’s problem, making product and architecture decisions, building across the stack, shipping, and following through in production.

From there, your scope grows across the platform: the interfaces clinic teams use, the services and data behind them, the AI that assists their work, and the infrastructure that keeps everything running.

What you will own

• Build and improve core workflows across scheduling, patient management, charting, consent forms, billing, memberships, and reporting.
• Own features across the full stack: interfaces, APIs, database models, integrations, deployment, and production support.
• Work directly with the CTO and our operations team in China to turn ambiguous business problems into clear priorities and useful software.
• Keep distributed collaboration effective through concise written updates, explicit decisions, clear handoffs, and early escalation of risks.
• Build AI-powered assistants and automations grounded in application data, with evaluations, monitoring, and human review where it matters.
• Make complex workflows feel simple. Care about interaction quality, loading behavior, error recovery, and the details that make software dependable.
• Design reliable systems for concurrent bookings, payment events, background jobs, and integrations. Think through retries, partial failures, and data consistency.
• Protect sensitive patient information through tenant isolation, access controls, auditability, and deliberate boundaries around AI data access.
• Help shape architecture, infrastructure, observability, and engineering standards as the product and team grow.
• Use AI coding tools aggressively while taking responsibility for the design, correctness, and maintainability of everything you ship.
• Build internal tools and automation that reduce repetitive work across engineering and operations.

To be successful in this role, all of the following should be true

• You are an excellent communicator. You can explain technical decisions to nontechnical teammates, clarify incomplete requirements, and coordinate work across cultures and time zones.
• You are comfortable with sustained intensity. You understand the approximately 50–60-hour weekly commitment and can prioritize effectively, stay dependable, and maintain quality during demanding periods.
• You have shipped and maintained a product that real customers used. You can explain what you owned, what broke, and what you changed.
• You have strong full-stack skills in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and relational databases.
• You can move comfortably between frontend interactions, backend logic, data modeling, and production debugging.
• You have practical architectural judgment. You know when a simple solution is enough and when reliability requires more deliberate design.
• You use AI effectively in your development workflow and can inspect, challenge, and improve its output.
• You can work through ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete information, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• You take responsibility beyond getting a pull request merged, including rollout, user feedback, and production behavior.
• You want the pace, accountability, and hands-on work of an early-stage company.

Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus, particularly the ability to discuss operational workflows and product requirements with our China-based team.

Experience with healthcare software, vertical SaaS, payments, scheduling systems, multi-tenant applications, or production AI agents is especially relevant. We value demonstrated ability and shipped work over a particular degree or employer pedigree.
