About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Application Developer to join our Digital Operator Solutions team at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that form the backbone of our digital infrastructure. You will lead the full lifecycle development process, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing optimization, ensuring our platforms are secure, efficient, and adaptable to future technological advancements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will serve as an architectural leader, defining best practices and driving innovation within our software ecosystem. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver mission-critical solutions that support our global operations and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of advanced technical skills and professional experience, including proficiency in modern web development frameworks, cloud architecture, and security standards. Candidates should have a proven track record in designing and implementing microservices-based applications, with expertise in TypeScript and Angular. Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services such as S3 and Load Balancers, is essential. Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, coupled with familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies, will ensure success in this role. Fluency in German is required, and proficiency in English is advantageous. Knowledge of German security and governmental compliance regulations is also preferred.
