We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Markham, ON.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.
• Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, and databases.
• Perform software testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements when needed.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications, systems, and development processes.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and new feature development.
• Ensure software security, data protection, and compliance with company standards.
• Support end users by investigating and resolving technical issues.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and implementation activities.
• Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and development practices.
• Work collaboratively within Agile or other software development methodologies to meet project timelines and objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in software development or programming roles.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with software development methodologies, testing, and debugging practices.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum development environments is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, automation tools, or DevOps practices is considered an asset.
