Software Developer (Full Stack) — Early-Stage Startup

We're small, scrappy, and every hire matters. No room for passengers.

What we offer:

- Real ownership and real impact — your code ships, your calls matter

- $110k-150k

- Benefits

- Equity evaluated after 1 year

- Remote - Edmonton / Calgary area

What you'll do:

- Ship production code, fast, with minimal hand-holding

- Dig into data: SQL, spreadsheets, dashboards to inform product and business calls

- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) as a daily part of your workflow, not a novelty

- Wear whatever hat the week requires

- Deploy applied AI workflows by translating complex business requirements into modular agentic tasks, focusing on observability and reliability

- Manage the integration of AI-assisted development tools within the production environment, ensuring formal verification and data cloaking protocols are maintained

- Strong Typescript or Python skills (Both preferred)

You should have:

- Minimum 7 years experience

- A track record of shipped, live code - GitHub, a live product, whatever proves it

- Comfortable moving between "build the feature" and "analyze why it isn't working"

- Fluency with AI-assisted development - you know when to trust it and when to override it

- Startup instincts: bias to action, comfortable with ambiguity, no ego about doing unglamorous work

- Comfortable talking to clients, assessing pain points and translating this to solutions

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to learn quickly and shift

Nice to have:

- Experience in a 1–10 person startup

- Basic product sense — you ask "should we build this" not just "how"

Be prepared to send us something you've built and a one-line pitch on why you're a fit. :)
