About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our dynamic Technology team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and accessible cloud-based applications that support critical digital experiences for our clients. As a key contributor throughout the full software development lifecycle, you will translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards. The position is front end led, with a primary responsibility for building modern web interfaces utilizing Next.js-based architecture. You will work in a regulated environment, integrating seamlessly with backend and platform services to deliver high-quality, high-performance applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 5-7+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on React expertise and 3+ years of Next.js experience in production environments. Proven team leadership skills are essential, along with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS. A solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals and familiarity with the npm ecosystem are required. Experience with unit testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs is also necessary. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments supporting high-traffic, public-facing applications. Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, along with experience in frontend performance optimization and CDN delivery, will be advantageous. A background supporting enterprise-scale applications and a good grasp of security and performance considerations are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end solutions using React, Next.js, and Node.js aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and scale complex React applications employing modern design patterns and best practices.
  • Design and implement reusable, high-quality UI components and frontend libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Apply Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) patterns to optimize application performance, SEO, and user experience.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and technical design decisions, including component strategy and framework choices.
  • Translate business and user requirements into detailed technical specifications and design artifacts.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript/JavaScript code adhering to best practices.
  • Conduct peer reviews for code, design, and unit tests to uphold engineering standards and quality.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services effectively.
  • Support system design discussions with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineering teams within an Agile delivery framework.
  • Optimize applications for performance across various browsers and devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, web platform advancements, and industry best practices to continually enhance skills and project outcomes.
