Full-Stack Engineer. WPP Open China

Reports to: Head of Engineering, WPP Tech

Location: Wuxi

Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery: Build high-performance, accessible, responsive web apps using one of React/Vue/Angular with modern modular/componentized practices; integrate with back-end services to ship complete features.
• Front-end performance & UX: Optimize load time, rendering, and memory usage; resolve cross-browser/device compatibility and establish best practices.
• Back-end & platform: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal services and APIs; contribute to overall platform and cloud infrastructure architecture and implementation.
• Cloud & infrastructure: Manage resources via IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation); use Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration; understand major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CI/CD & automation: Build and evolve automated build/test/release pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/GitLab); promote 'golden paths' and engineering efficiency.
• Observability & reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system health and performance; participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Developer enablement & collaboration: Partner with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders; communicate clearly, review code, share knowledge, and iterate the platform from developer feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS or related field, or equivalent experience; 5+ years in full-stack/front-end/back-end development, with mid-to-large-scale project experience preferred.
• Front-end: Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript; proficient with one of React/Vue/Angular; clean coding habits and modular mindset; solid visual/interaction sense.
• Back-end: Proficient in at least one of Python/Go/Java; experience with API design, development, and operations.
• Cloud/Platform: Understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP; hands-on with Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and self-driven learning; able to drive engineering best practices.

Nice to Haves

• Experience building internal developer platforms, monitoring/logging stacks, and security/compliance best practices; open-source contributions.
• Track record of delivering complex, large-scale products with strong interaction/visual quality.

主要职责

• 全端功能开发与维护：使用 React / Vue / Angular 之一，结合现代前端工程化（模块化、组件化）构建高性能、可访问、响应式的 Web 界面；与后端服务对接，交付完整业务功能。
• 前端性能与体验优化：持续优化首屏/整体加载、渲染与内存管理；解决跨浏览器/跨设备兼容问题，落地前端最佳实践。
• 后端与平台开发：设计、开发、测试、部署与维护内部服务与 API；参与平台与云基础设施的整体架构设计与落地。
• 云与基础设施：使用 IaC（如 Terraform / CloudFormation）管理资源；应用容器与编排（Docker / Kubernetes）提升可移植性与可扩展性；理解主流云（AWS / Azure / GCP）。
• CI/CD 与自动化：建设并优化自动化构建、测试、发布流水线（如 Jenkins / GitLab）；推动“黄金路径”与工程效率。
• 可观测性与稳定性：建设监控、日志与告警，保障系统健康度与性能；参与故障响应与根因分析。
• 协作与开发者赋能：与工程、产品及业务方跨团队协作；清晰沟通、参与代码评审、知识分享，并基于开发者反馈持续迭代平台能力。

任职资格

• 计算机相关专业本科及以上，或具备等效实践经验；3 年以上全栈/前端/后端开发经验，有中大型项目经验更佳。
• 前端：精通 HTML / CSS / JavaScript；熟练掌握 React / Vue / Angular 之一；具备良好的代码风格与模块化思维，对视觉与交互有把控能力。
• 后端：至少精通一门语言（如 Python / Go / Java）；具备 API 设计 / 开发 / 运维经验。
• 云/平台：理解 AWS / Azure / GCP 概念；熟悉 Terraform / CloudFormation、Docker / Kubernetes 及 CI/CD（Jenkins / GitLab）。
• 优秀的问题分析与解决能力、沟通协作与自我驱动学习能力，能够推动工程最佳实践落地。

加分项（Nice to Have）

• 具备内部开发者平台建设与运维、监控/日志体系与安全/合规最佳实践经验；有开源项目贡献。
• 具备复杂/大规模产品交付经验，并在交互/视觉层面表现优异。
