Role Description

Monza SAL is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of its internal systems, websites, and customer-facing digital platforms.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Beirut, Lebanon. The successful candidate will work with internal teams and external technology partners to understand business requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.

The role includes developing and maintaining software features, troubleshooting technical issues, managing integrations, improving digital workflows, and ensuring that systems remain secure, reliable, and properly documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal software systems, company websites, and digital platforms.
• Develop and improve back-end features, APIs, database functions, and system integrations.
• Write clean, structured, and well-documented code.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software, website, and data-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Work with different departments to understand operational requirements and improve digital workflows.
• Assist with the integration of software systems, international brand platforms, and third-party business tools.
• Support data management and ensure information remains accurate, consistent, and up to date.
• Follow software development best practices relating to security, reliability, performance, and version control.
• Coordinate with external software providers and international technology partners when required.
• Continuously learn and evaluate tools and technologies that could improve company operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and application development.
• Practical programming experience with at least one modern language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Understanding of back-end web development, APIs, databases, and server-side applications.
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern web frameworks.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and general software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Ability to analyze problems, debug code, and propose practical technical solutions.
• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to document technical processes and explain technical matters clearly.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and development practices.
• Interest in automotive technology, electric vehicles, digital transformation, or business automation is considered an advantage.
