Full Stack Developer — AI-Native Team

Carelabs is on a mission to simplify everyday healthcare. Our self-service kiosks are live in 50+ clinics, taking the hassle out of check-in, payments and queue management. We're growing fast and looking for a full stack developer who builds with modern AI tooling as a natural part of their workflow — and who's just as comfortable talking to customers as writing code.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features across the stack — Node.js on the backend, modern JavaScript/TypeScript on the frontend
• Integrate with third-party systems like journal systems (e.g. TakeCare), payment providers and BankID
• Work closely with our sales team — run demos, join customer conversations and help translate real-world needs into product
• Get close to the customer's problem across both private and public healthcare, understanding the different realities of each
• Own features end to end, from idea to production

What we're looking for

• Solid experience with Node.js and full stack development
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude — you use them daily and know how to get the most out of them
• Comfortable in front of customers — you can demo a product, ask the right questions and understand a problem before jumping to a solution
• Comfortable with REST APIs, databases and cloud deployment
• You care about clean, maintainable code and shipping things that work
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a strong plus given close customer contact

Nice to have

• Experience with healthtech or regulated environments
• Understanding of public sector procurement or working with regions/municipalities
• Familiarity with payment integrations or identity/authentication flows
