Role Description The Developer (Junior / Senior Engineer) will support EBENE & TRADITION by designing, developing, and maintaining software tools and systems that streamline construction project workflows. This part-time remote role involves building and improving applications for tasks such as project tracking, resource planning, documentation management, and reporting. The developer will collaborate with operations, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, implement features, and resolve issues. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, testing and debugging, integrating systems and data sources, and preparing technical documentation. The role also includes optimizing performance, enhancing usability for non-technical users, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company’s digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in software development (e.g., one or more modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#) and experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in web or application development frameworks and tooling (e.g., front-end frameworks, back-end frameworks, or cross-platform tools) suitable for building internal business applications.
• Experience with databases and data handling (e.g., SQL or NoSQL databases, data modeling, basic reporting or dashboards).
• Ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to deliver reliable code in a part-time remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with construction or project management processes is an advantage, as is experience integrating or customizing business software (e.g., ERP, project management tools).
• Relevant education in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working in an international environment; professional proficiency in English, and French language skills are a plus.
