About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal/Staff Front-End React.js Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, experience working across the full stack (React + Python), and strong hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot/Codex or AI-assisted development tools. You will drive the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications while mentoring teams and promoting engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and scalable web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain high-quality front-end architecture.
• Collaborate with backend developers working on Python services and APIs.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (Codex/GitHub Copilot) to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in React.js.
• Experience working at a Principal, Staff, or Lead Engineer level.
• Good understanding of Python backend development and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI-powered coding tools.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best coding practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Experience building enterprise-scale applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing AI-powered applications or integrating LLMs.
• Open-source contributions or technical leadership experience.
• Exposure to performance optimization and micro-frontend architecture.
