Are you a Senior Fullstack Engineer who thrives on building modern frontend experiences while having the technical depth to solve challenges across the entire application stack?

At Bonzzu, we're looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join an international engineering team working on the development, maintenance, and evolution of production web applications.

This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, solid backend knowledge with Node.js, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex issues involving frontend applications, APIs, and databases.

You'll work with an international team distributed across US timezones, contributing to the evolution of existing applications while building scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

💻 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Build responsive, reusable, and scalable UI components following modern frontend engineering practices.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, component design, performance, and code maintainability.
• Develop and integrate backend functionality using Node.js, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
• Implement and maintain application state using Redux Toolkit, React Query, or similar libraries.
• Work with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, and relational data to support application functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Maintain and extend existing production applications, improving functionality, performance, and stability.
• Independently troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend components, backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of development tasks, from technical investigation through implementation and deployment.

🎯 What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Strong professional background in Frontend Development, combined with fullstack capabilities.
• Advanced hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid experience with Node.js and backend development using TypeScript.
• Experience building, consuming, and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Redux Toolkit, React Query, or similar state management solutions.
• Experience developing responsive interfaces and reusable components.
• Experience with Material UI, Chakra UI, or comparable UI frameworks.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL queries, and relational databases.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
• Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, debugging, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Proven experience maintaining and extending existing production applications.
• Ability to independently investigate complex technical issues across multiple application layers.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency for collaboration with international teams.

Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus, but not required:

• PHP / Laravel or Python / Django.
• AWS, Docker, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Auth0, Contentful, or Salesforce integrations.
• React Hook Form.
• PostGIS, MapLibre, or geospatial applications.
• Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
