About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Multibanking team at Haufe Group. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our innovative multibanking platform, a cloud-based web application that handles high-volume financial transactions securely and efficiently. Your expertise will enable us to deliver seamless banking experiences to our customers, supporting over 100,000 transaction calls daily and facilitating over 7 billion euros in transfers annually. You will work closely with a diverse, interdisciplinary team of developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and agile coaches to push the boundaries of banking technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, to create scalable, reliable, and user-centric financial solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a proven track record in building modern, scalable banking software. You should be proficient in frontend development with React and TypeScript, demonstrating a strong understanding of user interface design and responsive web applications. In addition, you should have solid backend expertise in Spring Boot (Java), relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and experience with cloud environments, particularly microservices architectures on platforms like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda). Familiarity with integrating AI tools into development workflows, especially for critical processes, is highly desirable. You should prioritize writing clean, maintainable code, practicing test-driven development, and adhering to agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills in German at a C2 level are essential for active participation in team discussions and stakeholder interactions. A proactive attitude, curiosity for new technologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and agile coaches—to design, develop, and maintain our multibanking platform, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement and optimize both frontend and backend components of the cloud-based web application, utilizing React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures in AWS environments.
• Integrate artificial intelligence tools into development processes to enhance functionality, automate tasks, and improve user experiences, while maintaining oversight and critical judgment on AI-driven outputs.
• Focus on delivering a user-centric experience by continuously improving functionalities based on customer feedback and usage data.
• Ensure system stability and reliability through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices such as clean code principles and test-driven development.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions and experimenting with new tools and frameworks to enhance our platform.
