About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (FULL STACK) is responsible for designing, managing, and implementing scalable, high-performance web applications. This role plays a key part in translating complex business needs into production-ready solutions and elevating the technical capabilities of the team through mentorship. It contributes directly to the success of client projects by ensuring robust and effective software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build complex, stateful front-end applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop and scale APIs across various AWS compute services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and API Gateway
- Architect backend services using Python frameworks including FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework
- Write and optimize queries for relational and document databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Implement automated testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Manage containerization and deployment through Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure alignment on project goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience
- Deep proficiency in Python and building cloud applications in AWS
- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework
- Strong skills with relational and document databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency in React and building complex front-end applications
- Comfortable with TypeScript and React meta-frameworks like Next.js or Astro
- Familiarity with front-end tooling such as Webpack, Vite, or Turbopack
- Strong understanding of browser internals and cross-browser issues
- Skilled in API design and development
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD and Git version control
- Experience with automated testing across the stack
- Ability to translate business requirements into production-ready solutions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proactive collaborator and mentor to technical colleagues
- Working knowledge of accessibility concerns; localization/internationalization experience is a plus
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- 130,000-170,000 per year
- The pay range provided reflects target compensation and individual pay is based on experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, market conditions, and geographic location.
