Role Description This is a full-time remote Software Engineer role focused on building and improving Jobrion’s career management and application optimization platform. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain
backend services and APIs that support job matching, resume processing, and platform integrations. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented designs, troubleshooting and resolving
technical issues, and improving system performance and scalability. The role also involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate user needs into
technical solutions, participating in code reviews, and contributing to
technical documentation and best practices. The Software Engineer is expected to work autonomously, communicate clearly in a distributed environment, and take ownership of features from concept to deployment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production systems.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and to debug and optimize existing software.
- Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and interest in HRTech or career-focused products is a plus.
