About the role
Arabian Private Holdings is supporting a leading British financial services firm as it expands its digital footprint. The Junior UI Engineer role is a fundamental part of this growth, focusing on the creation and maintenance of clear, efficient
user interfaces for financial
data platforms. You will work to ensure that
technical requirements are translated into functional, accessible tools that support high-level decision making.
About Arabian Private Holdings
Our firm provides independent advice and strategic support to holding companies, family groups, and government entities. We avoid the traditional large-firm consulting model, preferring a principal-led structure where experienced partners stay directly involved in every mandate. Our work focuses on portfolio clarity, governance, and operating model efficiency for clients who face complex corporate challenges. Because we value the quality of our analysis over physical presence, we operate as a fully remote firm, prioritizing clear communication and logical rigor in everything we build and write.
What you will do - Develop and update user interface components for financial dashboards using standard web technologies.
- Implement design specifications to ensure a consistent visual language across all client-facing platforms.
- Collaborate with senior technical staff to ensure the front-end codebase is well organized and maintainable.
- Write clear, structured code and maintain documentation that explains the logic of specific interface features.
- Test and troubleshoot interface bugs to ensure a smooth experience for users in the financial services sector.
- Assist in the creation of interactive prototypes to help principals visualize new tools for client mandates.
- Monitor the performance of web interfaces and suggest improvements to increase speed and responsiveness.
- Contribute to internal discussions regarding the evolution of our technical operating model.
What we are looking for - A solid foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices in plain English.
- An organized approach to problem solving and the ability to think through user interactions logically.
- A genuine curiosity about how financial institutions use technology to manage governance and strategy.
- Attention to detail when following design guidelines and technical requirements.
- The discipline to manage your tasks effectively in a fully remote work environment.
- Willingness to receive direct feedback and adapt your style to meet the firm's standards for clarity.
How we work
Arabian Private Holdings operates on the principle that the best work comes from focused analysis rather than office-based bureaucracy. This position is fully remote, which requires a high degree of self-reliance and the ability to communicate clearly through written words and code. Our governance structure is flat, meaning you will have the opportunity to see how our principals form a view on a mandate and defend it. Mentoring happens through the work itself: you will receive precise feedback on your
technical output and your ability to solve problems without unnecessary complexity.
What the role offers - Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level position within the financial services sector.
- The stability of a permanent, full-time role within a principal-led firm.
- The ability to work from anywhere as part of our permanent remote policy.
- Direct exposure to the technical needs of a major British financial services firm.
- A professional environment that values substance, logical rigor, and clarity over flashy presentations.
- Experience building interfaces that solve real-world problems for significant corporate portfolios.
