What you will do

In this role, you will work as a member of our technical team, building robust cloud and portal resources with data management, analysis and reporting services with a rich user experience.

You will be an important part of a team that likes to have everyone engage, so we welcome insights and initiative from you. At the same time this will be an opportunity for you to grow as a programmer and stretch your thinking and skills.

Interest and ability to interact with different functions (management, scientists, engineers, risk assessors) is a strong asset.

What you need to succeed:

• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
• Ability and commitment to engage and align with customer solution goals
• Passion for user orientation, usability, design and user acceptance success
• 3+ years of experience in professional software development
• You are confident in working with Python and Django.
• You enjoy creating RESTful API’s and documenting them well
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and web fundamentals (HTML/CSS); comfortable collaborating on Angular and/or React codebases.
• Demonstrated comfort with multiple computer languages and programming paradigms
• Familiarity with server-side development in Node.js (building services, APIs, integrations).
• Great communication skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with React UI development (state management, component design, API integration).
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• CI/CD experience, especially GitHub Actions.
• Containerization with Docker; bonus for Kubernetes.
• Experience with data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, workflow orchestration, validation).
• Exposure to ML/AI systems (integration/evaluation/serving).
• Experience in scientific / regulated domains (risk assessment, toxicology, life sciences).
