OPUSMatch.ai is an AI-driven healthcare staffing technology company. Our mission is to apply AI and automation to help clinicians find the best job opportunities while enabling staffing agencies to operate faster, smarter, and at scale.

We are building a multi-tenant SaaS platform with AI at its core, serving customers primarily in the United States, with a distributed engineering team.

We are seeking a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer who can own features end to end — from data model to API to the screens clinicians and recruiters actually use.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will build across our Rails/GraphQL backend and our React and React Native clients, working directly with product and US-based stakeholders rather than through layers of hand-off.

We work in an AI-first way. We expect you to use AI tools daily, and we expect you to think critically about what they produce. Engineers who accept AI output uncritically will struggle here; engineers who use it to move three times faster while catching what it gets wrong will do very well.

You will work closely with:

• Engineering teammates across Vietnam, India, and South America
• Product and customer-facing teams in the US
• AI and DevOps stakeholders

We hire remotely in Vietnam, India, and South America. You can work from anywhere within those regions.

Our customers and business team are US-based (Pacific and Eastern time zones), so we require a consistent daily overlap:

• Vietnam / India: minimum 3 hours overlap with US Pacific morning — typically an evening block in ICT/IST
• South America: minimum 5 hours overlap with US business hours — largely a standard local workday

Outside your overlap window, you own your schedule. We care about shipped work and clear communication, not hours logged.

Engagement is through a local contractor or employer-of-record arrangement depending on your country.

• Build and ship full-stack features across the recruiter portal, clinician mobile app, and client portal
• Backend: Ruby on Rails, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq background jobs
• Frontend: React (web) and React Native (iOS/Android)
• Write and maintain meaningful test coverage; participate in code and design reviews
• Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager)
• Build with multi-tenancy, data isolation, and scale in mind from the start

• Use AI coding assistants as a core part of your daily workflow — implementation, test generation, debugging, refactoring, documentation
• Review AI-generated code with the same rigor you would apply to a teammate's pull request; you are accountable for what you merge
• Recognize when AI output is confidently wrong, subtly incorrect, or architecturally inappropriate, and correct it
• Break down ambiguous problems, ask the question behind the question, and push back when a requirement doesn't hold up
• Contribute to product features that use AI/LLMs in production — matching, extraction, conversational agents

• Work directly with US product and customer teams to understand real staffing workflows
• Translate customer feedback into technical solutions, and raise trade-offs clearly and early
• Default to written, asynchronous communication — decisions, context, and status documented so teammates in other time zones aren't blocked waiting for you
• Hand off work cleanly at the end of your day

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong hands-on experience with React, plus production experience with React Native
• Solid SQL and relational data modeling (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience building and consuming APIs (GraphQL or REST)
• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools, with a clear point of view on where they help and where they mislead
• Ability to work independently, unblock yourself, and communicate status without being asked
• Professional working English — able to read, write, and hold a technical discussion with US colleagues
• Reliable internet and a workspace suitable for daily video calls

• Prior experience on a fully remote, multi-time-zone engineering team
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Background jobs and queue systems at scale (Sidekiq, Redis)
• Google Cloud or AWS deployment experience
• Exposure to healthcare, staffing, or HR tech domains
• Experience shipping LLM-backed features to production
• Mobile release experience (App Store / Play Store)

• Your pull requests are clear, reviewable, and rarely need rework
• You use AI to compress delivery time without compressing quality
• You catch problems in specs and designs before they become production bugs
