We are looking for a fullstack web engineer!

You bring a strong foundation in system design, data structures, and algorithms. You enjoy untangling problems with teammates and choosing pragmatic solutions that move the product forward. As a Web / Fullstack engineer on this team, you will develop new and evolve existing features for listeners. You will design clear interfaces, dependable data flows, and resilient systems that ensure we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, develop, and operate both frontend (web) and backend (APIs, microservices) systems that can scale globally, following good design and development practices.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, product, designers, and data scientists to build end-to-end client-facing experiences.
• Champion engineering best practices, sound architecture, and operational excellence.
• Foster a collaborative culture built on shared ownership, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Who You Are:

• You have experience working across the stack, from building scalable APIs to developing intuitive, high-performing, modern frontend web applications (NextJS/React preferred).
• You’re confident building and operating backend services with Java frameworks using modern cloud environments. Additional tools and technologies such as gRPC, GCP, BigQuery, and Bigtable are a plus.
• You enjoy working collaboratively on a full-stack team, using agile processes to deliver a project in incremental phases.
• You approach problem-solving methodically and pragmatically, investigating complex system issues with a positive, proactive attitude while connecting technical, product, and business perspectives to inform your solutions.
• You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• It is a plus if you have experience with load testing and performance tuning.
• It is a plus if you have iOS or Android development experience.
