Position Overview

Clinical AI is seeking a highly capable Software Engineer to lead end-to-end product development and deployment of AI-powered enterprise applications. This role requires an engineer who can take products from concept to production, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

The ideal candidate has strong full-stack engineering experience, understands modern software development methodologies, and has practical experience leveraging AI technologies to build production-ready applications. You will work directly with leadership, product stakeholders, and customers to develop custom workflows and enterprise solutions that solve real-world healthcare challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end software products and enterprise applications.
• Build full-stack solutions including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered applications using modern AI technologies and frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready software solutions.
• Design and implement custom workflows tailored to customer and operational needs.
• Own the software development lifecycle from planning and architecture through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product, leadership, and customer stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering products from concept through production deployment.
• Strong full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency with modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs, web applications, and enterprise software platforms.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, security, and scalability.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders to build custom software workflows and business applications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project ownership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and deploying AI-powered applications and intelligent automation systems.
• Experience with large language models, AI agents, retrieval systems, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
• Startup experience and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Salary range: $120,000 – $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
